Looking through . . .

the beech trees as we had a picnic lunch.  Once again we stopped just south of Springs Junction for a cuppa and a sandwich.  We did this in January and today was a sunnier day.  There was more traffic today and more road works but it is a pretty drive and we had no dead line to meet.  It also seemed to be pick on a Mercedes day.  Three different policemen pulled over Mercedes drivers for traffic offences.
