Woke up to a brightish morning, pretty windy though!

Today is hubs "clickety click" birthday so first things first,
opening his cards and gifts.

Wrapped up warm we walked to the farm for fresh eggs and a couple of other things. It certainly blew away any cobwebs!!
As we came out of the farm shop an older chap was coming in, his shiny motor car almost blinded us as we walked out into the sunshine!! It was the most pristine classic I've seen in a long while (other than my Husband that is ;-) Vauxhall stopped making this model, the Velox in1965 apparently.
It really did look in terrific shape. There is another view in extras.

Then on to pick up milk and a newspaper, at which point the heavens opened, the wind really came up, and before we knew it, we were soaked!! The wind buckled our golf brolly as we fought to hang on to it......hubs managed to bend it back into some sort of shape!!!

We treated ourselves to fresh eggs with slices of cooked gammon for lunch before popping round to daughters this afternoon to collect hubs birthday goodies and have an hours catch up with her :-)

No cooking for me this evening, we are off out early for a Thai meal to celebrate hubs and our nextdoor neighbours birthdays, it was his birthday two days ago too, before we go quizzing, which will round off a nice day all together,
especially if we can get top three for the third week running, we will see ;-)
