First bloom

Slept reasonably well, woke up a few times though, for no apparent reason.

Once up, a banana for breakfast, I did a few email related tasks, booked lunch for a nice little get together we are having on Saturday :-) Then I sorted out two more bags of little girls clothing for the next charity bag collection tomorrow.

Then, as it was a nice bright morning we walked into town......we needed a few things, including fresh fruit and veg. Followed by coffee time, followed by lunch time ;-) Jacket potatoe with tuna and red onion for me.

Once back at home, we jumped in the car and drove back into town to drop off another two bags at the local hospice shop. I've still got three more bags to sort through....the last of the 12 from in our loft!!

We've made a temporary repair to our broken trellis panels, wooden stakes, nails and twine....it will stay upright until we can get some new posts in, all thanks to Doris!!
I refilled all the bird feeders and took this shot of the first camelia buds that have opened coinciding with the first of the month :-) The sky wasnt like that all day I hasten to add!

We are having pan fried cod in lemon and black pepper butter, with oven roasted coconut milk green beans, flavoured with garlic, chilli, lime juice and toasted sesame seeds, and roasted tomatoes. Ive not done this recipe before, so will report back ;-)

Me and sis did our induction at our new gym yesterday, followed by a class, much better than the last one we did, and I can walk today ;-) We also finalised things for Mums house, its ready to go on the market.
