It's Definitely the Mating Season!

These two male mallards were having a major dispute when B. and I came across them on our walk around Pensthorpe today, they were trying to bite each others heads at first, then one of them got the upper hand and saw his rival off, as you can see.
The extra is a much more tranquil mallard, enjoying the morning sunshine, they are all looking very handsome with their iridescent green heads.
