Lunch With a View

It is my husband's birthday today, so M and I treated ourselves to lunch at 'Upstairs at No. 1' in Cromer.  We had a fab view of the pier from our table for two by the window.  The meal was beautiful and the extra shows the 'Prawn Tacos' starter that M enjoyed. Two more courses later we 'waddled' out and down the road to the cinema to see the excellent film called 'Hidden Numbers' about the pioneering black ladies who helped NASA with winning the space race in the 1960s.  Their story is not well known, and they had to overcome many obstacles and much racism to achieve their goals.  It was a very moving and inspiring film, and the audience in the cinema spontaneously burst into applause at the end of the showing.
PS: We held hands in one of the 'two-person' seats in the back row, just like sitting on the sofa at home!
