Hunkered Down

Hunched against the cold and on a level with the balcony at Mum and Dad's, this Yorkshire wood-pigeon was hunkered down against the wind, sitting on the newly trimmed tree top. It seemed a good idea to take a shot this morning as otherwise it would have been a picture of the M1 again and as I was on my own and driving I didn't think it was such a great idea to multi task.
