For flower Friday

A gorgeous day from start to finish. After the Puffin Pool we went for  drive through Strathpeffer, Little Scatwell, over the dam and back up the other side to Maryburgh. We stopped a few times for a couple of short walks and to take some photos. We were stuck for about 15 minutes when a lorry blocked the road completely dropping off bricks at a house that's being renovated. It was fine though as we had lovely views over to the snow covered Ben Wyvis and a robin sang from the branches above us.
For the rest of the afternoon I tidied some of the garden and planted the bulbs we bought from B&Q including the crocus in the blip. They mirrored the colours of the day beautifully :)
It was warm in the sunshine and I think I had a good dose of Vitamin D today.
Just watching Top of the Pops from 1993, Spandau Ballets True is playing at the moment, goodness they all look so young!
