Eric, the Half a Bee

Ma and Dad arrived safely this afternoon. They are having a doze before we head out for New Year's Eve. My friend's Ma arrived yesterday so they can all snooze on the couch together.

We're off out for a barbecue. Cousteau's coming too.

This morning was a frenzy of cleaning and tidying. All looking and smelling good now.

This bee was on the patio this morning. He is no longer of this world, though Cousteau and I sat with him during his last throes of life. I don't know if it stung someone, died of old age or something else, but I let it go in a dignified way.

Of course, once it was dead, it was game on for a photoshoot!
