Norland Robin

SATURDAY

A day to recover after a busy week.

Did just 5 km on the treadmill before breakfast and a short walk up to the edge of Norland Moor to get some fresh air and clock up the magic 10,000 steps.

A pair of robins were flitting around on the wall just off Turberry Lane.

The birds are busy nesting and the noise from the rookery at the back of the house is increasing daily. Birds seen today include: robins, wren, long-tailed tits, blue tits, great tits, wood pigeons, hens, gulls and rooks.

13,226 steps now under my belt today and an evening of doing absolutely nothing beckons.
