Baroque Blossoms

These zucchini (courgette) blossoms were every bit as pretty as the flowers on display at our farmers' market today!

At another vendor's stall, I saw a tender moment between two squash.

And just imagine this vivacious dahlia next to those squash blossoms!

It's a lovely start to September, all the more to be relished as the days inexorably grow shorter.
