Westwards

We had a few things to pick up in town, and then headed westwards, firstly to Dounby for lunch at the cafe at the Smithfield.  Excellent!  Very tasty Westray haddock and fresh crisp salad, followed by sticky toffee pudding for Mike!  Onward to Stromness and the Quernstone for 4 ply wool for a special sock order and then a run on the beach at Warbeth for Ollie.  A day which satisfied us all!

Out in the evening to a really interesting talk at the garden club on Orkney wild flowers.  Lots of info and lots of lovely photos too.
