Two lakes. Two geocaches. Two moods.

Today we had so called lunch in the Cafeteria on the lake ice of Näsijärvi, me, hubby and all the teens - yes, our daughter and her boyfriend are having a vacation too and came to us to start it. Which is lovely idea of course. And we got our son to have a little walk with us, in the middle of his hard preparing for the matriculation examinations after two weeks.

Yes this is the very same lake, that I showed yesterday, but this is the safe shore to walk. As you can see, there is plenty of people walking on ice on this bay. They skate or walk to the cafeteria at the lighthouse. ;)

Great weather. Cold wind from north, but lovely.
Found a geocache from the lighthouse.
Some more shots from the Näsijärvi lake here.

I also made some videos. Here is the first where you can see the plough tractor...  and here is another, where a CAR brought some supplies to to the cafeteria by the lighthouse.

In the extra there is a view from another big lake, Pyhäjärvi.
Some more shots too.  There was a geocache on the island Saunasaari. The teens left home, but me and hubby walked into the island and back. Plain ice cover, no snow at all. Felt a bit peculiar...

And if you like to see and hear how the ice cover sounds, here is the clip to that. Me. Walking on ice.

And another short video from the island of Pyhäjärvi. Hubby walking on ice.

Over 8000 steps today. Lovely sunny bright day, -4c a bit windy.
