NOT brilliant - but...

...all is set up & ready.
I, recently, did a time lapse I was fair to middlin proud of, but there's always a HOWEVER.
However the 1st. In that case I shot hourly and in retrospect 1/2 hourly would have given a smoother opening.
However the 2nd. I started way too late and finished far too early; though the latter may have had something to do with the time of night/morning.
There's an elephant of doubt as to whether Alice would have sanctioned this since it is both there for over 24 hrs.
AND
In a direct line of sight twixt her customary perch and the TV screen.
The observant may be aware of a darker rectangle, just over 1/2 way up, and over to the right - The target area.
I'm backblipping about 24 hrs & have seen the start of operations.
THIS being so there'll not be much dossing tonight OR a lot of alarm altering.
