The Church Of All Nations, East-Jerusalem

Back in Palestine with Norwegian People's Aid and Fagforbundet's (Norwegian Trade Union for Municipal and General Employees)  ambassador corp for Palestine.

It's always with mix feelings I visit this wonderful city. Todays highlights that shared his knowledge of his hometown and his personal story, and the tour with  Fayrouz from Grassroots that gave us a bigger picture of the history of Palestine in general and Jerusalem particularly.  If you visit or revisit Jerusalem, I highly recommend a tour with Grassroots to get to know Jerusalem.

I have chosen a shot from Gethsemane and The Church Of All Nations on the Mount of Olives. The church is built over the rock on which Jesus is believed to have prayed in agony the night before he was crucified. With the development in Jerusalem it seems like the two-state solution is the minute before being crucified.

I'm not a big believer in religion, but I'm a strong believer in human rights, international laws and decency.  I believe that disasters can be changed.
