Fatheiah Salemeh in Jayyous, Palestine

- My life is gone. My life, my land is behind the Separation Wall.

The despair is intense, the hope is of out of sight.

Before the Wall Jayyous had six agricultural roads, now they have just one.
The Wall that is an electronic fence has just two gates.

But the obstacles don't stop there. The gates are just open 3 hours a day - or less - or not at all.   So the farmers can't go to their land, fields, olive groves and green houses - or not be able to go back. Left for days in the field without a soldier to open the gate.

But the obstacles don´t stop there. The farmers need a permit to cross the gate.  And just the old people get a permit.  One even needs a permit to take with you the donkey.  No machines, no tractors, nothing with an engine can enter.

Fathieah has problems to walk, and she is the only one in her family that get a permit to enter their olive groves. It´s too long to walk, her feet aches, and she can't do all the agriculture work alone.

But the obstacles don't stop there. The crossing is not allowed to take more than 10 minutes. It's not possible to carry heavy harvest in such a short time.

- They stole my life. They stole my land.
