Dusk

I breakfast in Portobello at a civilised hour - tea, roast and marmalade. Thence to Straiton an d Sainsburys for the weekly shop and Sunday lunch - roast chicken.

I prune some apple and pear trees, burn the clippings and discuss seed and compost with Nick and Helen.

A visit to Bill, Angus to Kathleen, Claire's car to Broughton, excursion to Biggar.

No rain all day. Clear skies and chilly. Still a few clumps of snow to the lee of the polytunnel.
