Life through the lens...

By ValC

It's behind you!

Far too many photos taken today, and so I have once again put some on extras.
I decided on this one, taken at Godrevy, but Mr C liked the first extra, taken as we walked along the George V Memorial Walk, Copperhouse Pool, Hayle.

How lucky we have been again today.
Pouring down before breakfast, but since we have had sunshine, and although still windy, it is a warm wind, and nothing like as strong as yesterday.

Another extra photo of the spoon bill, which we spotted among the seagulls in the estuary. What a treat, and a good start to  the day.
Then a walk along Copper House Pool.
Next to Philps for two pasties.  ( First this holiday)
We drove to Godrevy  ( main photo, and extra)where we sat with a wonderful view of the sea, eating our pasties!  ( In the car!)
These photographers were certainly taking a risk so near to the crashing waves.
Not sure why one of them was facing the wrong way!
As usual the wind was strong here, but we had a nice walk along the cliff top, and that is where we saw the seals down on the beach below. ( extra photo)

I think there must have been some kind of accident as a Coast Guard rescue van passed us, followed by a National Trust Van, Two cars, and then an Ambulance. Not surprised as the wind was very strong, and the cliffs had fallen away, very close to the path. We did warn a couple taking photos who were inches from the edge without realising it.

Now back ' home' relaxing with a cuppa.

You have been very kind with your comments, hearts and stars for yesterday's blip.Thank you.
Like many of you I liked the photo of the waves, but chose the other one as it was St Piran's Day.
