Gourds

In the run-up to our annual art show to be held this Sunday I thought I would feature some of my wife's gourd art. She transforms ordinary gourds into colorful works that would brighten anyone's abode. Of course she is inspired by the brilliant colors of the flowers which constantly surround us, but it takes considerable talent to reproduce those colors and designs on the imperfect surfaces each gourd provides. Always in awe of my wife's ability to create.
