Primula "Little Queen".

One of our periodic trips to Carlisle and no Carlisle would be complete without a visit to a garden centre.   Today it was Dobbies.  For a while all garden centre we have been in have been very dull and looked a bit empty.  Suddenly it's Spring and the benches are full and the place is a riot of colour.

This little Primula caught my eye.  It seems to be a Primula/Polyanthus hybrid.  There is a similar variety known as Silver Lace and for the life of me I can't see a difference.  I assume it is all down to the colour inside the white edge.  Silver lace looking much darker.  In both the flower is about the size of a thumbnail.
