Gwalior Fort

We are in Gwalior for one night only staying in the most luxurious villa in the Usha Kiran Palace. We are a group of 6, 3 couples, and have a huge suite each with our own pools. Unfortunately we have been out all day so have no time to enjoy it. The hotel is owned by the local Maharajah.

Anyway the visit to the 15 century fort was very interesting. This glimpse shows how the sandstone was decorated in blue and many of the walls decorated with precious stones. But more importantly are the delightful Sikh family members who we met while looking around. They asked Jack and I to be in a group photo with them and they happily agreed to pose with us too.

On to Agra tomorrow to the Taj Mahal which we have visited before.

Apologies I forgot to include a mention of International Women's Day. Air India have organised a round the world flight with an all women crew. Things are happening slowly here. I hope the women in my blip feel the benefit.
