Zooming Through

Our town has been undergoing a bit of sprucing up lately. It started with repair and replacement of the tile-roofed sidewalk covers (visible in the background) on various streets. Today it extended to repainting crosswalks at most intersections (as shown here). The cones did little to slow down the traffic, including this scooter which roared through this painting zone at full speed, while the worker looked on, waiting to start the next half of the street.
