Inveraray

I always love this view but I am usually driving and it is hard to get anywhere to stop , or at least anywhere that gives a position to do it justice at a full tide.

But I wasn't driving today and we got stopped at the lights by the bridge overlooking the Castle. So I took the opportunity to take a few shots , including some of the debris in the water which is always a feature here.

As seems usual this summer the cloud was thick and the light was grey. Black and White seemed to suit the subject.

Inveraray - the former county town of Argyll - is a model village , specifically built as such.

You can see another view of one of its features from a previous bllip though if you search with the just the name of the place, there are lots of blips of it from lots of blippers, mostly in better weather !
