We met Haneen today
A young woman
Outstanding
The only girl in her family 
that goes to university
that are active in volunteer work
taking driver license 
speaks her mind
taking a stand
taking challenges 
breaking with repressing norms

and

living in constant fear
under occupation
check points 
settlers

Mid January 
soldiers shout her neighbour
18 years old
in his knees
then killed him with four bullets.
They dragged the dead body
disrespectful like he was not human.
He might have thrown stones. 
The execution and dragging is filmed by a TV-reporter. 

They detained her two brothers
for a week 
of interrogations 
since they knew him.

I admire her energetic drive for change.
I mourn her losses and feel her fear.
