Happy International Women's Day! 

We spent the day with Palestinian Center for Democracy and Conflict Resolution (PCDCR). Noor and Worud work as administrators and they gave us a presentation about the facts and challenges many Palestinian women face in society and in their families. Violence and discrimination are world wide phenomena, but increases under war or occupation. 

These two wonderful young women give hope that women can be empowered and strengthen so that gender equality and justice will be the norm and not just a dream.
