Combestone Tor

Another nice day looking out the window although the forecast had been making no promises. I decided to head out early (when I say early, I mean this morning rather than this afternoon). I headed up to the moor towards Venford Reservoir. It's a small reservoir with conifers planted all round, so not all that inspiring. I took one shot from the car park which includes an elegant scots pine.

I carried on a little way to Combestone Tor which is where my main blip comes from. It's a small tor  with a few attractive hawthorn trees and scattered rocks. It's close to the road and looking over a lovely valley.

You can see the day's shots here if you'd like.
