Los Nietos Viejos

Today we took a trip on the Ferrocarriles de Vía Estrecha from Cartagena over the Sierra Minera to the shores of Los Neitos and our Spanish was severely tested, as no-one spoke Eeengleesh.

The railway is not promoted to tourists, it's really for local commuters into the city, we managed to stumble across it and found our way despite the city tourist info not having a timetable (??).

The engine on the train vibrates through the thin seats at just the right frequency to ShakeOurTeeth and scalps at the same time !
