William, Lord Bardolf and his wife Joan...

...lying together in St Mary's Church Dennington, Suffolk.

We've been off to Lowestoft today for a family lunch at a well used waterhole, The Spring Tide. Nice to see Mum and Aunty Val, Linda and Denise.

William was a pretty important bloke, Treasurer and Chamberlain to Henry VI, hero of Agincourt and Harfleur and a knight of the garter. He died in the 19th year of the reign of King Henry VI - 1441.

St Mary's Dennington is well worth a visit if you're passing.
