Grasmere mists

The forecast for Grasmere today was for fog and mist, so that's where we headed. Good job we did too - despite continuous drizzle, the lighting stayed like this all day, and by mid afternoon, I had a pretty damp but very happy group of photographers with me. We ended the day on the tearooms at Rydal Hall - and photographing the waterfalls in their grounds. did also do a great focus stack of a daffodil  covered in water drops (extra), stacked from 21 images, shot at f8 to get sharpness through the flower, but against a soft background.
