An eggshellent depth of field

The Mono Monday challenge this week has a DoF theme to it, and as you can see our recently released chooks are producing, now the sun is higher in the sky. And it is higher in the sky and today, after the regular hospital visit and dance around the car park, it's been lovely in the garden!

I'm also dropping in an extra, which focuses on finances - strictly, on the fact that my parish council has this year managed to set a precept which reduces my annual charge! What a fine parish council it is! What a fine chairman... Sadly, everyone else put up theirs, so my council tax bill this year is, as ever, larger than the previous years.
