Filming at Craig-y-nos

Well here we are at Craig-y-nos castle, I have very mixed feelings about this place where I spent four years as a child when it was a TB sanatorium.

Today its known as one of the most haunted castles in the UK and as a wedding hotel though it puzzles me why one should want to get married in a place that gives off such bad vibes.

Today though, I am shocked. The place looks, derelict certainly from the outside though once inside, the ground floor has a Gothic opulence. Its looks more like the setting for a creepy film.

Anyway the students have had to pay £100 a day to film here.

Craigynos castle was originally the home of this opera diva who not only had her own private castle and theatre but built a railway station too to bring in foreign guests and Royalty.
