Monday: Departures

Isn't this so much better than big international airports?

We didn't have to leave until the evening so we still had most of the day in Huatulco.  It's been an excellent break - a bit of a first for us as we haven't really done sun, sea and sand.  But it's been great - and particularly welcome following the Vancouver winter.  We have pretty much disconnected from the news which has also been a tonic.

This evening we flew from Huatulco to Mexico City but as we didn't land until 9pm, we didn't get the chance to explore, particularly as we are staying in an airport hotel (literally - it's right in the airport!).
