Snowy trail

We took the bus to the Yosemite high country. Soozaday was on cross country skis. I trudged along on snowshoes. After a mile, we got off the unplowed but ski tracked Glacier Point Road and headed out on the Dewey Point Trail. It is about 3 miles to a fabulous point overlooking Yosemite Valley. We did it on skis when we were younger. This time, we didn’t get very far. The snow was very tough going so we turned around near this fallen tree. It was beautiful to ski in such deep snow after the years of drought.
