Wading in

The work to clear the overgrown lake/pond at school is carrying on until the end of the week.  Having cut down a lot of the reeds, the guys are having to rake them up and remove them from the water.  So they have donned their waders and they are in the lake, loading the cuttings into a small plastic boat.

Apparently the depth of water varies considerably and, in some places, comes up to their chests, and the bottom is clay which they sink into.  It is a good job it was a lovely, sunny, and really quite warm day to make the work quite pleasant.
