By Himself

By Himself

Castletownbere

What looked at first to be a dull, wet day turned into an atmospheric one around the Beara Peninsula with mist floating over the hilltops. Herself was on the search for more holy wells and we took friends R&F to some other sites they had not seen. While the women visited the church in Castletownbere looking for examples of stained glass, R bought us huge ice-creams (I shouldn't have, but I did) and we sat in the car looking at this derelict building - an entry for Derelict Sunday.
Extra is Dereenataggart stone circle above the town.
