Freezing

Not literally, but very cold for only just into September and this evening we've lit the estufa for the first time this 'winter'.

Today I added a lot of vegetation to the pile that will eventually be loaded onto the trailer and moved to the field and burnt. We can't put it on the field until just before bonfire day because it might all blow away... even large'ish branches. Todays vegetation work mainly consisted of removing the bottom branches from baby and teenage pine trees on our land, so that eventually we'll be able to walk underneath instead of around them.
