wild & precious life

Cobbled alleyways

Dashed into the centre of Durham in my lunch break to hunt for a costume for my eldest daughter in Oxfam, following a panicked phone call from her! She is playing...wait for it...one of the prostitutes in Les Mis (proud mother moment!) and had suddenly realised that time was running out and the dress rehearsal was looming! The oxfam ladies really assisted me and we found a long black raggedy skirt and a lacey top to be worn with a shawl. It was lovely just walking over the bridge and through the cobbled streets past the cathedral on this spring-like day. The extra is the view of the cathedral at the top of the cobbled street.
