The news from Holland came in too late to prepare a celebratory dinner. Perhaps Duck in Orange Sauce would have been appropriate.

Well done Holland. The Quarter Final has been won by sense over hate . And incompetence - I did see a certain person being questioned in the UK and then PMQ's. The future of England is in their "safe as houses" hands!

That's not to say the path ahead for the Dutch or the rest of reasonable Europe will be easy but a great starter.

Did feel for "The "Citizens" of Manchester only Blip supporter (Nogbad) after they failed tonight by a blond hairs breadth at the round of sixteen and didn't make the Champions League Quarter Finals. Nogbad is a granite European and will get over it.
