Some respite from plumbing blips though both projects continue with head scratching and hammering in comparable measures.

We'd offered Rod-the-roofer-and-ensuite-disassembler some of our wood mountain - there are only so many decades we need firewood for.  As it was all at the bottom of the garden, and probably a good ton in weight, Thunderbird 17 had been called into action.

We went to see Viceroy's House this evening.  Excellent film: enlightening (I'd not known Pakistan was a 'British' partition, like Israel and Ireland), if embarrassing and saddening.
