Beagle Channel M/V Plancius

Slept like a log last night. Up and out this morning to drop the bags off at the port ready for later. Spent the rest of the day looking around Ushuaia. Did a bit of tourist shopping before having lunch. Had to get some more local money as the museum we went into only to Paso’s. Decided against going back to the museum as we have a day in Ushuaia when we land. Nice lunch before getting a few postcards etc. Met L on the front before we went to board the ship. Nice cabin and very nice crew. Had to do the mandatory, so we had to attend, briefing and muster drill before meeting the guides we will be using and having a glass of champagne to toast the trip with. Set sail in nice calm waters up Beagle Channel. Reminds me of the sound of Mull. As the cloud is down hiding the tops of the mountains it could be anywhere on the west coast of Scotland. Good meal and then downloaded the photos now everything is back up before getting another early night.
