A low key day which was probably just what was needed.

9yo had been spending her first night away with school at an adventure education place, so 12yo and I warmed up for the day with a bit of street football before sharpening our style further at the barbers.

9yo joined us after lunch as reigning archery champion and tired but happy about her experience.

I expect we'll get out and about a bit tomorrow, but for now the standard Saturday tea of somethin' 'n chips and a relaxed end to the day.

For today's image I poked my nose into the community garden next door, but sadly not during one of the rare sunny spells. So a sprig of moss to go with yesterday's lichen. We all need a quiet crevice.
