Howzat!

Until today Norwich Lowriders Junior League team had never won a competitive match so it was especially exciting when they came from 15-8 behind to lead Nottingham Jaguars 16-15 (see extra shot) with 51 seconds to go ....... 51 nail biting seconds but Lowriders held on for a well deserved win :-)

Jamie played a part in all three matches they took part in.  The main blip is a practice shot .... I was so absorbed in the final match (they lost that one) that I did not have the camera switched on when Jamie scored twice in the last five minutes!

A grand day out, perhaps the most heartwarming moment came after Lowriders win.  One of the Jaguars came off court in tears, desolate at the turnaround in the scores.  Soon the best player in their team, a lad who had looked rather too sure of himself on court, came over and put his arms around the sad lad offering really strong support and words of consolation.  Teamwork of the very best kind.
