Almost over!

Last back blip from the weekend, which was a lot of fun, this lovely bunch are the leaders who were with our group, which showed itself to be a pretty decent bunch of young people, much less prone to cheating at Nuke'em Ball than the other group's leaders and kids (only partly a joke!). Next time we plan and write up the rules in advance to avoid regular changing and ignoring! We were proud of our lot, especially as they played really well and beat the other lot as often as they lost, quite impressive as the other group was three times the size of ours, and it was pretty much everyone on court! Lots of fun with wasps, spiders, disinfectant sprays and card games also had this weekend! Nice to be away and have a chance to think about things too, we looked at some great Bible passages and were encouraged to think hard about what impact our faith has on our lives. Thanks to inimmoralclaws (currently on a blipbreak) for his hard work, and to all the other leaders for making it so much fun. The only bits I could have done without was the Saturday morning at 5am fun of cleaning up vomit and the discovering when my first load of washing came out this evening that I had left a paper hankie in my pocket. Of course it was a dark wash!
