...a friend sent me.

Encaustic wax painting on an oil canvas with my household iron, and also my old pyrography pen to melt the wax.

It took quite a while to do. I ironed the whole left side of the pic out at one point and redesigned the picture, and it began to look better. Did it very early cos was out this morning, and the sun is out this afternoon, so I am sitting warm side of the window half dozing...

So this is my painting today on my challenge to myself of a pic a day every day in 2017.
