Les Fourmis

Les Fourmis (The ants) is a group of volunteers who restore ancient stone walls, terraces and 'capitelles' which are like stone igloos, here in the hills of the Parc Naturel du Haut Languedoc. It's our absolute favourite spot to take the dogs for a walk during which we stop for a backpack aperitif overlooking the lowland vineyards that lead down to the Mediterranean. Our great fortune is that this is less than a kilometre from our home.
