Port Edgar

The old railway tracks down at Port Edgar are the remains of a line that, around 1916, when the Admiralty acquired the port, ran from the pier and off the South Queensferry Branch Line towards a slaughter house past creosote works, which were present when the area became a base for destroyers and, much later, for minesweepers, closing in 1975.
The marina was developed after 1978.

We managed to be indoors or the car during the heavy showers, but I did catch a photo of a Mamma cloud, see the extra.
