Gold and diamonds

This hawthorn really caught the setting sun!

It's a long old drive from Staffordshire to South Devon - especially in driving rain. Happily, by the time we reached Somerset, the sun broke through and was still shining as we arrived home in Devon. Just time for a walk before it went dark - great to stretch our legs! There's an Extra of the sunset as I liked the gold edge to the cloud - looking almost like fork lightning.
