Motorway Services M74 Style

After my morning's work in Dumfries we set off sharpish as there were tales of blizzards further north. Stopped at the independently owned Cairn Lodge Services for something to eat once we got onto the M74. Unusually these services, as well as being independent of the usual suspects, have this lodge house round the back. Part of Douglas Castle I believe. It wasn't fine dining but it saw us on our way. You can see some snow on the ground in front of the building. There was indeed a lot more further north.
