Old, new and renovated

Lots of bits of buildings here - a bit of the surviving George Square terraced houses, a bit of the renovated 50 George Square (William Robertson Building), a bit of the very recently refurbished Appleton Tower, a bit of the relatively new Informatics Forum and finally a crane hovering over the ongoing construction of the new Data Technology Institute.

I caught this in one of the sunny intervals between the snow showers. It was baltic out there today.

Busy day with some AS work in the DHT, a lunch, some interviews and then a discussion group on the dreaded Brexit. Just cycled home to see what Mr A had to put up with. To be honest, it's not the worst thing I've ever came home to. That was about 15 years ago, when half a recently renovated kitchen had to be taken apart in order to find a nailed pipe supplying a newly installed radiator. That took weeks to dry out, with a humidifier going 24/7. This is nothing of the order of that, although bad enough. Tomorrow we start planning the recovery.
