Warm Coat

A chill wind gave this sunny day a distinct feel of winter not quite over.  The newly emerged pulsatilla flowers have a coat of silky hairs to keep them warm. (...... yes I was lying flat on the ground to get this shot.)

Jamie had a school outing to the local trampoline centre ... surprisingly good fun even without the use of your legs.  I managed to fit in a charity shop drop, a catch up with an old work-mate, an hour on the allotment, a nice lunch with Jacinta (and  a nice tea,) cutting the grass - we can't call it a lawn - a few little garden jobs and an evening lecture to a local garden club.  So, a fun filled day on the whole.
