Really Wild Wednesday51: What the Heck?

I have, so far, not been able to identify this most unusual looking caterpillar. Probably a moth, but maybe a butterfly. I've never seen anything like it! Any help out there? And in the EXTRA...a Augochlora Green Metallic Bee on a Spiderwort flower.
